I almost tricked myself into thinking there might be a nip of fall in the air, this morning. The light seemed nearly right. The leaves were fluttering a bit. It was quite early, so maybe-- Just maybe. I put on a jumper and went outside to run errands.
I nearly died of heat-stroke. I suppose it was all just wishful thinking. A lot of that going around these days.

Tomorrow night's that time again, if you're so inclined to visit. I understand if you've found something more life-threatening and inadvisable to spend your time doing, however.
Also, I'm applying for a job at the grocer's. A heartfelt thank you to whichever one of you assisted with updating my resume, but I'm not certain that Mad Marcy's Mart needs to know that I was "Pearl-Clutching Champion of 1978". I also removed any and all references to my unparalleled skills at "cross-dressing", but thank you for kindly calling them out. I'll never leave my resume so unguarded again.
Wish me luck about the job? It's part-time and fairly light on drama. After all the book-tossing I've been up to with the Order, it'd be nice to turn off my brain. I'm liable to try speaking Latin to the locals at the rate I'm going.
Also - Sirius, I apologise, but I definitely ate all the ground sirloin this morning. I'll pick up another one later today.
